Step 08 of 09
Checked against a number, not against a good sheet.
Measured colour, agreed tolerances and your approved proof, on the bench while the press is still running.
Quality control only means something if the standard was set in advance. Ours is: the colour profile agreed at the start, the tolerance signed off with it, and the proof you approved. Everything is measured against those rather than against a good sheet somebody liked the look of.
Sheets are pulled and measured through the run. Finished packs are checked for register, fold, glue and cut. Anything outside tolerance is dealt with before it reaches a pallet, which is considerably cheaper than dealing with it after it reaches yours.
We are ISO 9001 certified, which is a statement about process rather than about print: that the checks are defined, recorded and repeatable, and that we can show you what was measured and when.
If a job does go wrong, you will hear it from us first.
Records are kept for every run, so a repeat job six months later starts from what was actually measured last time rather than from somebody's recollection of it.

Submit your project details, and we'll provide an honest, expert evaluation.
Finished artwork, a sketch on the back of a spec sheet, or just a deadline you're worried about. All of them are a fine place to start.
