Step 04 of 09
When a brand colour drifts, nobody can say when.
Your brand colour measured, profiled and held to the same standard on every substrate.
Coated board takes ink differently to kraft. Kraft takes it differently to corrugated. Left alone, one brand colour drifts across a range until the shelf looks like four different companies, and nobody can point to the moment it went wrong.
We measure the colour properly, build a profile for each substrate and press, and hold to it. Not by eye and not by memory, but against numbers, with the tolerance agreed in advance and checked during the run.
The profile is yours. We will share it as a file your other suppliers can print to, which matters if your cartons come from us and your point-of-sale comes from somebody else. It is the difference between a brand colour and a brand colour that only works here.
If your colour is already drifting across a range, bring us samples and we will tell you by how much.
This is the part of the process most printers treat as an art. Treating it as a measurement is what lets us promise the same colour on a coated carton, a kraft sleeve and a corrugated shipper, and then show you the numbers that prove it.

Finished artwork, a sketch on the back of a spec sheet, or just a deadline you're worried about. All of them are a fine place to start.
