Step 03 of 09
A pack on screen tells you almost nothing.
A pack in your hands, on the real board, before a single plate is made.
A pack on screen tells you almost nothing. You cannot feel the board, you cannot see how the light catches a varnish, and you certainly cannot tell whether the thing will stand up on a shelf next to a competitor.
So we make it. Cut and creased on the board you will actually print on, folded, glued and handed to you. If you are presenting to a retailer, that is the difference between describing an idea and putting it on the table.
Prototypes catch the expensive problems while they are still free. Panels that fight each other when folded. A window that weakens a corner. Type that disappears into a crease. Finding any of those after plates are made is a different conversation entirely.
Turnaround is usually days rather than weeks, because the cutting and the printing happen in the same building.
We keep the cutting formes, so a repeat or a variant later on starts from something that already exists rather than from scratch.
Bring a competitor's pack if it helps. Comparing yours against what it will sit beside is usually more useful than comparing it against the brief.
Start a project
Submit your project details, and we'll provide an honest, expert evaluation.
Finished artwork, a sketch on the back of a spec sheet, or just a deadline you're worried about. All of them are a fine place to start.
