Step 06 of 09
The press matters less than the person reading it.
Sheet-fed offset litho. Plates, ink and thirty years of judgement, meeting the board.
Sheet-fed offset, multi-colour, with coating units. The kit matters less than what happens at the console, which is where experience earns its money: reading a sheet as it comes off, spotting a drift before it becomes a reprint, knowing when a stock is going to fight you.
Runs are checked against the agreed colour standard throughout, not just at make-ready. Sheets are pulled and measured, and the numbers are recorded. If something moves, it gets corrected while the job is on the press rather than discovered on a pallet.
Because the presses are ours and the finishing is next door, we control the schedule. That is usually what people actually want when they ask about lead times: not a faster press, but nobody waiting on a third party who has other priorities.
Short runs and long runs are both welcome. A small job gets the same make-ready discipline as a large one, which is the only way the colour holds across repeats months apart.
If the schedule is genuinely impossible we will tell you before you commit, not after.

Finished artwork, a sketch on the back of a spec sheet, or just a deadline you're worried about. All of them are a fine place to start.
