Solutions
Every step, end to end.
Nine steps from the first conversation to the pallet at your door. All of them ours, in one building, with nobody to blame but us.
Count the companies involved in the last carton you bought. There is usually a design agency, a repro house, a printer, a finisher, and often a separate warehouse. Five invoices, five schedules, and five people who are each doing their bit correctly while the job as a whole quietly goes wrong.
Ours do not leave the building. The same company that talks you through the board is the company that measures the colour, makes the plates, runs the press, die-cuts the blank, glues it, checks it and puts it on a lorry. That is not a boast about size. It is the reason a brand colour can hold across four substrates, and the reason a date we agree is one we actually control rather than one we are hoping somebody else will hit.
It also changes what happens when something goes wrong, which occasionally it does. There is nobody to point at. You get told, by us, usually before you have noticed.
The nine steps below are the whole chain. Each one has a page of its own.
The chain
Nine steps.
No handovers.
Each step is a page of its own. Follow any of them for what actually happens, and what we need from you.
Consultancy & concept
We start before the design does: materials, budget, shelf life and what the packaging can actually hold.
02Design
Structural and graphic design in-house, or clean artwork handling if your own agency is doing it.
03Prototypes
A pack in your hands, on the real board, before a single plate is made.
04Colour management
Your brand colour measured, profiled and held to the same standard on every substrate.
05Prepress
Separations, trapping, impositions and plates. Quietly where most jobs are won or lost.
06Printing
Sheet-fed offset litho. Plates, ink and thirty years of judgement, meeting the board.
07Finishing
Cutting, creasing, complex glueing, foiling, window patching and spot varnishing.
08Quality control
Checked on the press and off it, against a measured standard rather than an opinion.
09Distribution
Palletised, stored and delivered to your line on your schedule, not ours.
